I also found the good doctor's use words rather curious & telling when he said -- ''It has not in my experience happened *TO THE SAME EXTENT* with saline-filled implants.'' I know that women can develop a thick capsule surrounding saline implants as well. CC (Capsular Contracture) happens with saline as well as with silicone gel implants. This woman had her saline implants for 8 years and look at the capsules that were surrounding those implants.
