Toni Braxton Cancels Remaining Vegas Shows Due to Health Problems

Toni Braxton has cancelled all remaining shows in Vegas due to on-going health problems.  These shows were scheduled through the end of August.

In April, Toni was hospitalized for chest pains and was diagnosed with hypertension and pericarditis, a viral inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart.

Interestingly enough, Braxton also had to have her implants removed several years ago.  She was reported to have ‘excessive scar tissue’.  Whether her latest health problems are related to the breast implants has been undetermined.

After helping women for the last 3+ years, I’ve heard many times about similiar problems.  Many women complain of chest pains and heart palpitations following breast augmentation.  Some of these women’s symptoms become so severe, they have to have explant under local anesthesia.  All these women have reported that they did not suffer any of these problems prior to having breast augmentation.

I hope that Toni can recover quickly and get ‘on with the show’.

  1. Ah man, this is really too bad for Toni. Sounds like she is just another victim of breast implants, like the rest of us. I was diagnosed with stage 2 hypertension a few years after getting my implants (I was only 27 years old.) I still have to take medication because it is uncontrollable. I exercise regularly, eat well, and no I am not overweight (I weigh 105 pounds.) I still can’t control my blood pressure. I also suffer from heart palpitations, chest pain and chronic fatigue. I too, had extensive scar tissue when I had my implants removed (I only had them for 4 years.)
It’s really too bad that all of us were mislead into believing breast implants were safe…now we are all suffering. I wish Toni all the best.

  2. Part of Toni’s image is that she’s super-fit, and now to hear that she’s so ill she can’t perform is really quite shocking. That this should happen to someone known to be at the pinnacle of fitness really begs the question of What Could Have Caused It? If it’s not her breast implants and this is something that can just suddenly happen, then why should women bother to work so hard to eat right and exercise? It’s all fate, right?
