Dear Senator Boxer,

Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is a great first step in the right direction.
I had "SALINE" breast implants five years ago and was so sick from the silicone SHELL that I nearly died. I got them out 4 months ago and my symptoms immediately went away. I am like a new person. I unlike thousands of other women was fortunate enough to be married to a prominent attorney and could afford to have them out. The surgery cost over $13,000.00. Most women are still trying to pay off the debt from having breast implants in the first place and they CERTAINLY can't afford to have them out, especially since they have already accumulated thousands in medical expenses in the first place to try and figure out what's wrong with them, only to be told it's a number of things but NOT their implants. What these doctors don't tell you is that the shell is silicone and you can have serious symptoms from it in the future. Us women need to be MORE informed but instead these doctors neglect giving us the full facts. We need more people like you in office to be our voice. My family thanks you and I thank you for what you are doing!

Sincerely,
