New Low in Advertising Unnatural Breasts
We found this astonishing ad on the copyranter blog.
copyranter says: “Jugs missing Caps. Puppies missing Noses. Pillows missing Buttons. Boulders missing Crevices. Ad apparently from Mexico for Mia “seamless” lingerie.”
One of his readers, Rachel, says: “My sister was a mammographer for years, and she saw many that looked like this. Reconstruction after surgeries, and the women didn’t want to put fake nipples on her fake breasts. One of the women was still very amused by her own ‘Barbie boobs.’”
Beauty and the Breast says: Is the model a breast cancer survivor? We think not. Doesn’t it defy reason for a lingerie company, in the business of showing a woman’s natural assets to best advantage, to offer a female figure - painfully thin, with silicone-filled, nippleless breasts - so far removed from what nature intended?
Creepiness and shivers.

Firstly… if the lingerie company put nipples on the model they would not be able to use it…”too graphic”.
Secondly… when I had my reconstruction surgery following breast cancer, I opted NOT to have a nipple reconstructed. I did not want the additional surgery. I wanted the reconstruction to help with how I looked in clothes…not how I looked naked.

I’m always fascinated at how you can show an entire breast with just the nipple covered and it is considered a “clean” photo… but add a nipple, and suddenly it’s lewd.
I find it to be discriminatory that men can walk around with shirts off, but the second anyone can see a nipple outlined through a woman’s shirt, she’s considered slutty. I want to just say that WOMEN HAVE NIPPLES AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM.

Nipples have a virgin/slut dilemma all their own. When they seen feeding babies, they are so natural, so pure, a gift from heaven. But when they are simply seen, then they are dirty, lust-inducing, drive men out of their minds, an affront to civilized society, etc. This lingerie company, which is working so hard to hide the nipples, should have a line called Nipple burqa!
